The Sony WF-1000XM3

The Sony WF-1000XM3

Sony has officially announced its new all-wireless earphones, the WF-1000XM3. The first product, the WF-1000X, announced in 2017, was highly anticipated because it was a completely wireless earphone with noise canceling, but it was sought after by users because of over-cutting and ambiguous noise canceling.

This time, the WF-1000XM3 has changed from the design. It still has noise canceling capability, which is hard to see as a fully wireless earphone, and the new QN1e processor improves noise isolation. It has a 6mm dynamic driver and supports Bluetooth 5.0, SBC and AAC codecs.

You can feel the upscaling effect at 96kHz 24bit through your own DSEE HX sound field. The frequency band is 20 – 20,000 Hz. The battery can play 6 hours of earbuds based on noise canceling ON, and can be fully charged 3 times through the case.

It also supports quick charging for 90 minutes with 10 minutes of charging.

Personally, I liked the sound quality of the previous work and the dedicated app linking function, but if this product improves the connection stability, I think there is a good chance of success. The Sony WF-1000XM3 will be officially released in Japan on July 13, and the price will be 25,880 yen.
